any case I was quickly losing patieh the ight ship that

Withersby was f down my throat.

One Monday m one of my employees, Tony came into the offid sat

down in the chair opposite my desk. Tony was a good-looking guy part

Italian part Latino. He always had a grin on his fad spent way too

much time scratg his crotch. Tony was gay, and he did not care that

anyone knew. I would have liked to have some time with Tony and would go

after him if he wasn't an employee. I did not need any sexual harassment

charges on my record.

"Jake" Tony started with excitement in his voice. "What?" I replied with

profound curiosity. "I was out this weekend and guess who I saw?" I thought

for a moment but could not think of ahat would bring him so much

excitement. "Dunno, who" I asked. "W-I-T-H-E-R-S-B-Y" he said dragging it

out. "OK" I replied trying to figure what the big deal was. The man was

alone in town and I was sure he did not o spend all his time in the

office or his hotel room. "Jake, he was ing out of The Quest." Shock

sort of hit me square in the face.

The Quest wasn't a gay only bar but rogressive bar. Lots of gay, bi

and straight people went there. What was Withersby doing there? Maybe he

did not realize the type of bar it was? "He was chatting with some really

hot muscle guys in the bar." Tony said snappi of my thoughts. "No

that 't be" I said remembering he was married with children. Tony sighed

"Jake buddy, trust me, I know what I saw" Tohe room a our

day started.

The image of Withersby in his expensive suit and tie standing around a bar

chatting up muscle guys was intriguing to me. What was he there for? What

was his i. Was it just a ce? Was it even him. Tony may have

been drinking and it could have been anyone. I decided I would go there on

my own this weekend and see if he made a return visit.

Saturday night came, and I repared. I went to The Quest and picked a
